With three weeks remaining in the January transfer window, Manchester United still have plenty of time to add to their squad.

Erik ten Hag's side have seen one of their summer targets move elsewhere, with Cody Gakpo joining Liverpool and making his debut for the club on Saturday. United appear to still be after attacking reinforcements, though, with Memphis Depay and Wout Weghorst continuing to be linked.

Jack Butland became the first new arrival in January, with the England international goalkeeper joining on loan from Crystal Palace, but he might not be the last. Here are the latest reports from Old Trafford.

Memphis interest not over

Man Utd are not out of the running for Memphis Depay, though other Premier League clubs could rival them for the Dutch international. That's according to Sport, who report that Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle have sounded out Barcelona over a potential deal.

Memphis, who played for the Netherlands at the World Cup, finished the 2021-22 season as Barcelona's top scorer. His opportunities have been limited since the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, though, and the 28-year-old could yet find himself on the move despite manager Xavi reportedly being happy with his squad make-up.

The former PSV Eindhoven and Lyon frontman has already had one spell at Old Trafford, though it didn't end brilliantly. He scored just seven times in 53 appearances, with Jose Mourinho struggling to find room for him in the first-team.

United on alert over Pickford

Manchester United are ready to pounce for Jordan Pickford amid a contract impasse with Everton, according to The Sun. The England goalkeeper is said to be at odds with the Merseyside club over pay, though he is still keen to remain at Goodison Park.

Erik ten Hag's side aren't the only team in the mix, though. Tottenham have also been linked, with suggestions they see Pickford as a longer-term replacement for current club captain Hugo Lloris.

Pickford has been with Everton since 2017, when he joined from Sunderland after the Black Cats' relegation. Reports suggest the Merseyside club are not prepared to sanction big-money deals at this point in the season with relegation also a serious risk for them.

Besiktas issue Weghorst statement

Besiktas have denied there is an exit clause in Wout Weghorst's contract, amid links with Manchester United. The Dutch international has been spoken of as an Old Trafford target just months after joining the Turkish team on loan from Burnley.

"The claim that there is an exit clause in our football player's contract, stating that his contract can be terminated with a compensation of 2.5 million Euros in case of an offer from the Premier League, is fictitious," the Super Lig side said in a statament. "However, the news that the player in question will leave the team on Tuesday is completely untrue. The initiative regarding Wout Weghorst belongs entirely to Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club.

Weghorst has averaged a goal every other game since moving to Istanbul. He also netted twice at the World Cup, with both goals coming in the quarter-final at the Netherlands were eliminated by Argentina.
