Danielle Harold breaks silence on Pete Wicks romance after 'kissing' at party
EastEnders star Danielle Harold has spoken out over rumours of a romance with Pete Wicks after her I’m A Celebrity stint.
The actress laughed as she was put on the spot about possibly dating jungle winner Sam Thompson's best pal during a chat on Loose Women on Tuesday. The soap star cleared up speculation about a possible romance, as she explained what was really going on after pictures showed them looking close last week.
Speaking to the panel, Danielle addressed the rumours after being asked about them - as she set the record straight on her relationship with TOWIE's Pete. She explained they had been friends for a while, even before she got to know jungle king Sam - who she developed a close sibling bond with in camp.
Danielle told the panel: "We've been laughing so much. No, we've been laughing so much bless him. We come out and you go out with all the friends and family, but me and Pete are just good friends. Have been for years, but we've been having a good giggle about it."
It comes after Pete and Sam also addressed the rumours, with Pete cooling the claims. Speaking on the podcast Staying Relevant, Pete took the opportunity to shut down the rumours once and for all as he said: "Just on my experience for the whole f****** thing, we'll go into that another time properly. I just want to point out that I didn't sh** anyone's wife."
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesSam added: "Pete got linked to every single person out there. He got linked to Sarah - Nick's [Pickard] girlfriend, he got linked to Danielle [Harold], he got linked to my girlfriend Zara [McDermott], he got linked to Rochelle [Humes] at one point. I don't think there were anymore women out there to get linked to."
Sam continued: "Do you know what my favourite thing about this is... I've gone into the jungle and Pete's flown out there to be there for me and it's literally he can't get away from it. He's come to Australia and it's 'Pete Wicks linked with whoever the f*** he's linked with', he'll never outrun it."
Pete then summed up the rumours as he commented: "Genuinely, Sam could not be more loved and all that seems to have happened is that I am hated."
