Brazil star Hulk confirms he's expecting second child with his ex-wife's niece
Former Porto and Zenit star Hulk has announced that he and his partner - the niece of his ex-wife - are having their second child.
Back in 2020 the Brazilian international married Camila Angelo, the niece of his ex-wife Iran Angelo, whom he'd been with in a 12-year relationship. Hulk and Camila have since had a child, Zaya, and now have a second on the way with the 37-year-old confirming it is a boy.
He didn't want the secret to get out, citing fears over leaks, and wanted to tell his children himself when he saw them earlier in December. Hulk has three children from his previous relationship - two boys and a girl - but will now become a father for the fifth time.
The Brazilian said in a video on his Instagram story: "Dropping by to thank you for the countless messages I have been receiving about my wife's pregnancy. Another son, another blessing that God gave me. My children didn't know until now and I had agreed with my wife to tell them when I picked them up to spend the holidays with me, only on the 16th.
"I told them the news, they were very happy. I knew they would tell other people and those people would pass it on to someone. I knew it was going to leak."
Reports of Hulk's relationship with Camila emerged in December 2019, just five months after his marriage with Iran ended in the July. The pair married in September a year later whilst Hulk was still playing for Chinese outfit Shangai SIPG following a mega money move from Europe.
Iran has previously hit out at her niece, whom she claimed to have a very close relationship with. She said previously: "I wake up and go to sleep without understanding why everything happened to me. The pain is very great, sometimes I think it will tear my heart out. She was a daughter to me."
