Coleen Nolan is reportedly 'upset' and 'disappointed' after her son Shane Nolan split from his wife.

The Loose Women panellist, 58, is the mother to Jake Roche, 31, Shane Nolan, 35, and Ciara Fensome, 22. She shares Shane with EastEnders star Shane Richie, who has been playing Alfie Moon since 2002. It was recently alleged that her son Shane's marriage to his wife ended due to infidelity.

Shane married Miss Great Britain beauty Maddie Wahdan in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family last summer. The pair had been together for six years before getting married at Rushton Hall in Kettering. However, the two decided to call time on their relationship.

It comes after Shane reportedly admitted to seeing another woman while being in a committed relationship. A source recently claimed that it was the beauty pageant star who initiated the break-up after she was left feeling 'heartbroken' over her husband's infidelity.

A source claimed to The Sun: "Coleen is really upset as she adored Maddie and sees her as another daughter." They went on to claim Coleen "is disappointed to see history repeating itself" - referring to Shane's soap star father. They added: "It’s a case of like father, like son." The Mirror have contacted Coleen's reps for comment.

Coleen was married to Shane Sr from 1990 to 1999. She previously opened up about him cheating on her during their marriage. In 2012, Coleen told the Daily Star how her divorce from Shane eventually brought her peace. "I'm in a much happier place now than when I was married to Shane – I don't have to worry about what he gets up to any more," she said.

Shane told the Guardian there was 'no excuse' for his behaviour, especially as he was the host of a wedding show, Love Me Do, which promoted monogamy. "What I did to Coleen was unforgivable and I could never apologise enough," he once said. "And I was pulling the wool over the public's eyes, so what do you think was going to happen?" Coleen has since moved on with her partner Michael Jones, while soap star Shane is married to his wife Christie Goddard whom he wed back in 2007.

Meanwhile, the report claimed Shane and Maddie are living separately after the shock split. The musician is staying in Blackpool near his family, while Maddie resides in Kent. Shane Jr is said to have been throwing himself into his music career and gigs.
