Fans hoping to watch Arsenal's Premier League clash with Brighton live on TV in the UK will be disappointed as neither Sky Sports or TNT Sports will be showing the game.

Arsenal are set to host Brighton at the Emirates at 2pm, with the Gunners just one point behind league leaders Liverpool. Brighton, meanwhile, currently sit seven points off the top four and the game should be a fascinating contest.

Unfortunately, though, it is one of two matches taking place today that will not be aired live on TV. The 2pm kick-off between West Ham and Wolves will be broadcast on Sky, followed by the 4.30pm clash between Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, neither Arsenal vs Brighton or Brentford vs Aston Villa will be televised as they have not been selected by Sky or TNT. Both games were originally scheduled to take place on Saturday during the 3pm blackout, but have since been moved due to Brighton and Aston Villa's European commitments.

Brighton beat Marseille 1-0 in the Europa League on Thursday, ensuring they topped their group, while Villa drew 1-1 with Zrinjski Mostar. Arsenal, meanwhile, were in Champions League action on Tuesday as they drew 1-1 with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

And Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is expecting a tough challenge when his side welcome Brighton to the Emirates. "They are a really good side," the Spaniard said in his pre-match press conference.

"Last year when we had the game under control was when we conceded a goal and then the game completely broke up and we struggled, especially in the last 15 minutes of the game so we have to play better and be very efficient, which is key against them

"They've been really good. I think they have taken another level, playing European football, they've been really successful. You see last night what they did. They've done that after selling players, after a lot of injuries, so huge credit for them, for Roberto and the coaching staff for what they're doing because it's really impressive.

"I know him and have spoken to him a few times about different topics. I've followed his career since he was at Sassuolo, before he moved to Ukraine. It's very impressive what he's done, the way his teams play and what he's accomplished in the Premier League as well."
