ITV This Morning fans cry 'make it stop' as they demand presenter change

ITV viewers have vowed to switch off from This Morning after becoming 'fed up' of the 'revolving door of presenters' and daily 'host roulette'.

Roving reporter Andi Peters joined Mollie King in the studio day after Dermot O'Leary stepped in on Tuesday and Christine Lampard worked the shift on Monday. Following a raft of endless line-up switches, loyal viewers have complained they 'don't know who's coming next' while others have called 'more permanent presenters'.

The shake-up comes after long-serving hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield both quit ITV's flagship daytime show earlier this year, with the station yet to settle on their permanent replacements.

"God’s sake, what’s with this whole presenter roulette," one fuming viewer slammed on X, formally Twitter, earlier today. Another added: "Tuned in saw presenters and tuned back out. While someone else said: "Molly is the best presenter out of all the revolving female ones to host the show so far. Paired up with Craig, you'd have the perfect, permanent replacements to their predecessors."

Another angry fan complained: "I'm so confused with #ThisMorning - I never know who is going to be presenting next then it's a whole process of getting used to who's on the show. Have I missed something? I love all the couples but would love to have more permanent presenters. Is anyone with me on this??"

While another viewer uploaded a picture of This Morning's regular therapists Nik and Eva Speakman, quipping: "Surprised these two ain't had a try at presenting this comedy show." (sic) Someone else penned: "Them: Ooh look at us mixing it up every five minutes with new presenters Me: Stop now and put Emma and Rylan back on with Alison and Craig on Fridays. That’s it. Job done!"

It comes as Rylan Clark and Cat Deeley were named 'the most compatible' This Morning presenting duo by an expert - beating newbie Mollie King and Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson to top spot. Body language expert Darren Stanton claims that Rylan and Cat make a dynamic duo due to their "infectious" chemistry, as it makes viewers feel like they're "in the same room as them" - and the pair are able to "let go and be themselves" on screen, according to Spin Genie.

Following behind is Rylan and Emma Willis, as the duo are described as "telepathic" and "very in sync". He further said the TV stars work "perfectly" together, and interviewing comes "naturally" to Rylan.

Darren added: "Craig and Rochelle have good chemistry together. They work really well on screen and genuinely get on. While they’re new to the line-up, they have got a nice bond. I think it works better for him to present with Rochelle instead of Cat as they have similar personalities and experiences as presenters.

"Andi Peters is a very strong personality and a huge part of This Morning. He's always had a lot of confidence in presenting and leading the way. He never fails to show energy and enthusiasm. He makes everyone feel at home and he isn’t self conscious in the slightest. There is a natural connection on screen between him and Rochelle.

"Craig and Cat aren’t massively compatible when they’re presenting together. They work as a duo and they get the job done, but there isn’t a lot of engagement between them. I don’t buy it with them. Cat is massively experienced and it comes naturally to her. However, I sense some nervousness from Craig when they’re together and it may be that he’s intimidated by her experience as a presenter.

"I could see signs of awkwardness from Craig and he was masking his emotions. Nervousness is coming through. Cat was the most confident out of the two. They don’t look that natural when they’re together and it comes across as quite distant at times."
