When do Boxing Day sales start?
The Boxing Day sales traditionally start on the morning of December 26th but it's not unusual for retailers, especially these days, to start their deals events much earlier. This is exactly what's happened in the past few years, with most of the big-name retailers launching their Boxing Day sales online on Christmas Eve.
Apple TV release MLS Season Pass worldwide and announce free opening weekendWhile it depends from retailer to retailer - a lot of shops are likely to offer extended 'December' or 'Winter' sales this year that usually start well ahead of time and carry over until January. Some retailers may keep their powder dry until the big day itself, while some may even carry over their prior Black Friday deals from last November. It depends on the retailer.
Apple's Boxing Day sale
As the recent November 2023 Black Friday sales proved Apple is notorious for not dropping the physical prices of its tech products, in fact, it very rarely offers a discount without asking you to buy a product at full price first.
There's a possibility that the tech brand will re-introduce its voucher shopping event this Boxing Day, which, if the same process as Black Friday, will see shoppers get a gift card of varying amounts depending on the product they buy. The price increases the more money you spend, so if you buy an expensive iPhone 15 or MacBook pro to get the biggest voucher amount, during Black Friday the highest amount was £160.
The catch? If it's like any of its voucher sale events in the past shoppers can only use this voucher on a separate purchase. This is why finding third-party retailers with Apple products is key.
