Eagle-eyed fans of Bobby Brazier have spotted another sign the EastEnders star is smitten with his professional Strictly Come Dancing partner, Dianne Buswell.

Bobby and Dianne will be competing for the BBC show's famous Glitterball Trophy as they go head-to-head with fellow couples Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, and Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola this weekend. Although Dianne is in a long-term relationship with Joe Sugg, actor Bobby set tongues wagging earlier in the series by confessing his "love" for the 34-year old following one of their routines.

Bobby, 20, initially sparked speculation after admitting to the Mirror at the Pride of Britain Awards in October: "I could speak about Dianne all day. She's just a diamond – you know what, I'm falling in love with her. She's just great. I feel very lucky. She's like my sister who I kind of fancy a little bit at the same time. She's my coach and my teacher. She's an unbelievable dancer."

Now, as the pair were snapped heading home from an intense day of training on Monday, a photo of them dancing together could be seen on Bobby's iPhone lock screen as they waited for a cab. Despite the pressures of the competition both Bobby and Dianne appeared all smiles as they were whisked away together, with the former carrying a large purple suitcase.

Earlier in the day, meanwhile, Bobby could be seen twirling Australian Dianne around, before performing a series of elegant lifts in what appeared to be one of their slower routines. The three couples in Saturday's final will each dance a Judges' Choice, followed by a Couple's Choice and a Show Dance.

Bobby and Dianne recorded their highest score of the series so far in last Saturday's semi-final - as they were awarded 38 for their Quickstep by judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke. Despite the pair of nines and tens, the couple found themselves in the dreaded dance-off, but emerged victorious against Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe.

Dianne, who met Joe on Strictly when they were partnered together on the show in 2018 in a series in which they reached the final, told the Mirror any affection between the duo is all part and parcel of the dance experience. "That happens every year, it’s just part of it," she explained, before Bobby quipped, "Especially when we’re both so good-looking."

The model also set the record straight on his love life, adding, "I have no girlfriend." He is said to be interested in Waterloo Road star Tillie Amartey, having called it quits with ex Liberty Love before beginning Strictly. "He is doing all the running at the moment. Bobby is messaging Tillie constantly in between rehearsals and has also asked her to the Strictly studio," an insider said. "Tillie does really like him, but she is based in Manchester and hasn’t decided if she will come down to see him."

Joe, 32, has previously revealed that he gave Bobby advice on how to handle Dianne's strict training regime if he wanted to be successful on the show. "I said to him, 'Look, Dianne's going to try and push you, she's gonna try and stop you from having your lunch breaks' – which isn't strictly true," he told Metro.

"You're gonna need the energy if you want to be in for the long haul. You've got to fuel your body and you've got to put the hours in and just make sure you eat enough food. That was my advice. Food is just as important as a dance."
