Bad boy Pete Wicks' wild dating history as he gets close to Danielle Harold
Pete Wicks' name has been in the spotlight in the last few weeks after he jetted to Australia in support of best pal Sam Thompson, who was crowned I'm A Celebrity's King of the Jungle on Sunday.
With Sam's girlfriend Zara McDermott remaining at home following her short-lived Strictly Come Dancing experience, former TOWIE star Pete headed Down Under where he mingled with the ITV show's friends and families until he could meet up with Sam. After spending time with Danielle Harold's step-dad and mum, Lisa, Pete was later spotted partying with the former EastEnders actress after she became the fifth celebrity to be voted off the competition.
The pair were seen getting close, with onlookers describing the two stars as "incredibly cosy" with lots of cuddling as they "acted like a couple" at Queensland's Surfers Paradise. They were all smiles as they were seen strolling through the club together with Danielle holding a cocktail, before they shared a sweet embrace as Pete lit a cigarette.
Pete, 35, has a wild history when it comes to live, however. The reality personality has dated a string of big names over the years to little success. Now, we look back at those relationships and hope that this time the star has found 'the one'.
Megan McKenna

In what proved to be a feisty relationship, the pair were hit with cheating rumours on several occasions and were even seen screaming at each other in the street. They went their separate ways in 2017, but agreed to be friends two years later during their appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

In an interview in 2019, meanwhile, 'Pirate Pete' explained on Celebs Go Dating why his romance with the Ex On The Beach star ended in 2017 after a year. "About three or four months into us being together I made a few mistakes. I was messaging other women," he admitted. "When I start to get feelings for someone I feel vulnerable."
Chloe Sims
Pete dated Chloe Sims 'in secret' for around two years (Instagram)Pete got together with TOWIE co-star Chloe in 2018, but the couple kept their relationship secret, with it only emerging they had been "sleeping together for two years" in admission by the former in 2020. In a dramatic instalment of the ITV show, Pete told Chloe: "I can't be in a relationship, I can't give you what you want and I can't give you what you deserve and I know that."
Opening up to the Sun in October that year, Pete shared details of their romance, which he said took place whilst they were both in various other relationships. He said there were "blurred lines" and added: "We haven't been officially seeing each other but there's definitely been times it's been more than just a friendship."
Chloe later revealed in an Instagram Q&A session: "Although it ended in years on the show, we had so many good times. Unfortunately you guys just didn't see them. We always sort it out in the end and we love each other."
Megan Barton Hanson

The Love Island beauty, who was is in a relationship with co-star Wes Nelson at the time, was said to have "gone missing" with Pete while hanging out with pals Ferne McCann, Mario Falcone and Jon Clark.
"Megan and Pete hit it off from the moment they first started talking – they both seemed keen to get to know each other better,” an insider told The Sun at the time. "The pair even went missing for a long period of time from the rest of the group befre Pete had to go home ahead of a radio appearance that same morning so left around 4:30am."
Pete later hit out the speculation, however, after coming face-to-face with Wes at The Pride Of Britain Awards. He told OK!: "Do you know what, it’s so ridiculous. At the minute I seem to be getting links with a new person every week. Obviously Megan’s in a relationship, seems really happy, it’s like a friendly thing. It’s turning into a bit of a pantomime. It’s just ridiculous."
Ella Rae Wise

Speaking to The Sun when they were on good terms, Ella explained: "He is 11 years older than me. It is quite a bit [of a gap]," before stating Pete worries about outside opinions. "Even Pete doesn't feel like he's talking to a 21-year-old when he talks to me."
Following an amicable split and Pete's departure from the show, Ella Rae told her Instagram followers: "I was gutted but I've made a forever friend in Pete and I'm glad. He's always had my back, protected me and gave me the best advice. I will definitely miss him and p***ng him off. We will very much still keep in touch."
Jessica Wright
