King Charles is said to be standing firm as the Royal family feud continues to threaten to boil over.

The monarch was one of two members of the royal family to have been allegedly named by Omid Scobie in Endgame for asking questions about Harry's son Archie's potential skin colour before his birth. Amid the furore, Buckingham Palace, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have all remained silent on the allegations.

However, it's thought that Charles is not willing to be "emotionally blackmailed" by his youngest son following a number of other claims in recent months.

According to The Sun, a source close to the King said he remains "full of energy" and isn't concerned by his name appearing in the public domain regarding the claims. As well as the race row, Harry recently stated he simply cannot return to the UK with his family as he couldn't guarantee their safety due to the armed royal protection no longer being available.

In a statement read out in court on Harry's behalf this week, the Duke of Sussex claimed he felt "forced" to leave the UK after the security downgrade. He said: "It was with great sadness to both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020.

"The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States. That cannot happen if there is no possibility to keep them safe when they are on UK soil."

But despite his youngest son's words, the King is said to be standing firm with his decision. The source told the Sun: "The King has said that [he] will not be emotionally blackmailed by his own son. He is not concerned by the book and remains full of energy.”

Charles is said to be ready to welcome Harry back to the UK should he choose to return, but the same reportedly cannot be said for Harry's older brother William. The Prince of Wales is said to be adamant the Sussexes shouldn't be welcomed back.

According to The Daily Beast, a friend of William's said: "The idea of them coming back here will go down like a bucket of warm sick."
