Taylor Swift says Kim Kardashian 'took her down psychologically'
Taylor Swift was named TIME Magazine's Person of the Year, and slammed Kim Kardashian amid years-long drama.
Taylor told TIME that the drama between Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West took her "down psychologically" to a place she had not been before. The drama started in 2016 when the rapper released Famous, which left Taylor upset over lyrics, which said: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**ch famous."
Kim then released a video of a call between the singer and rapper that seemed to prove that Taylor was onboard with the song. It was later revealed that it as edited to make it look like Taylor gave consent when the full video was released.
She told TIME: "That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year." She continued to say: "I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard."

Swift then took a break before releasing the Reputation album in 2017, which featured an image of a snake. It came after Kanye and Kim fans spammed her with snake emojis following the feud. She said: "I thought that moment of backlash was going to define me negatively for the rest of my life."
Kim has since claimed that Kanye "forced" her to defend him and will sometimes include Taylor's music in the background of her social media posts.
Taylor's career came back stronger than ever after the 2017 album and hshe as put out multiple new records since then. She even began rerecording her old albums, naming them Taylor's Version, in an effort to reclaim her 'masters. Taylor's dating career is also looking rosy as she is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.
In the TIME article, she opened up about her relationship with the football player and admitted the pair had been dating since he called her out on his podcast, New Heights, in July. She said: "We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other." She continued: "By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date."
