NBC officially announced that the spinoff would feature a star-studded group of judges including Mel B, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel competing with actor Terry Crews as the host. The upcoming show, set to be released in 2024, has a fantasy football-style format with each judge creating a roster of who they believe has what it takes to make it to the finals.

The performers, all pre-selected by America in an initial vote, include winners, finalists, viral sensations and fan favourites from America’s Got Talent and Got Talent franchises. These fantasy team rosters will include 10 acts out of 40 finalists featuring talented singers, dancers, ventriloquists, comedians, aerialists and magicians from previous seasons.

The show comes with an exciting new twist - the judges who have famously watched from the sidelines will be actively competing beside the contestants. In the series, the world-renowned judges will mentor and help the performers throughout the competition in order to guide them to first place.

Judges will also be given the chance to use their Golden Buzzer to send their own performer straight to the finals, or to steal one from another judge’s team. Viewers will also get the chance to weigh in as they get to choose which acts will advance each week.

Since its debut in 2006, America's Got Talent has spanned more than 70 different versions across the world. Fantasy League joins a list of previous spinoffs of the famous popular show has created including A merica's Got Talent: The Champions, America's Got Talent: Extreme and America's Got Talent: All-Stars.
