Enraged little girl 'batters Christmas Elf to death' for his 'bad behaviour'
Parents can have fun pranking their children over Christmas with a mischievous elf, and it's a fun Christmas tradition that many parents take part in each year with the Elf behaving badly - but one youngster wasn't having any of it.
Traditionally parents will come up with fun and inventive ways for the Elf to cause mischief around the home, for their child to find in the morning, but four-year-old Betsy was not impressed when the elf threw loo roll around the living room.
The enraged tot then proceeded to "batter the toy to death" in fury as she "hates anyone who misbehaves". Mum Tamara Castle caught the fiasco on camera and is heard giggling in the background.
Tamara, 26, from Bexley, Kent, had set up the prank in the living room on December 1, to surprise her daughter Betsy, but it didn't quite to plan when her little girl saw what the Elf had done.
The enraged youngster couldn't believe her eyes and repeatedly said: "What the hell is this" as she looked around the living room at the toilet roll scattered about.
Viral sausage roll debate leaves Brits confused about how to order at GreggsAs she grabbed the toy and shouted "naughty elf" she repeatedly hit it against the chair as punishment for causing havoc to the home. Tamara explained: "This is the first year I have done it for Betsy. [For December 1st], I made a slide out of the toilet roll and it was hanging off the dining room chair and curtain rail.
"I didn't expect her to react like this and beat up the elf. Betsy doesn't like being naughty and she is a very good kid. If she ever sees anything naughty, she is not impressed and she was extremely put off by the elf. When she kept saying, 'What the hell', I thought this was really funny.
"I didn't know where she heard this from because it's not something I'd say and then when she started bashing it as well it was so funny. Elf is still intact at the moment so we're going to give him another go but he will definitely need a few plasters to make sure he feels a bit better."
The mum-of-one says Betsy ironically hates bad behaviour, but couldn't believe her reaction to the prank. She then shared the hilarious video online and added: "I didn't think this video would ever go this viral. I said to Betsy that she's going to be famous and she thought this was really good. I was laughing at all of the comments. Someone said that Betsy had made the traditional easy for me now because there isn't one now because he's dead."
Another TikTok user commented: "The stance she took on the second whack has me crying honestly, while another jibed: "The elf probably now has a concussion until next Christmas," and a third said: "Well you don't have to worry about the Elf anymore. She killed him."
