Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay in a lavish Saudi Arabia hotel suite after completing his move to the Middle East.

The superstar has completed a free transfer to Saudi Pro League table toppers Al-Nassr, with the deal thought to be worth £173million per year. After arriving in the country, he will stay in a lavish hotel suite, for at least the first part of his time with his new club.

Ronaldo has jetted to Saudi Arabia and took in Al-Nassr's win over Al-Ta'ee on Friday from the stands. After watching that victory, which extended his new side's lead at the top of the table, Ronaldo returned to his suite at the Four Seasons Hotel.

According to the Daily Mail, the superstar is staying in the Kingdom Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Saudi Arabia. The Tower is home to the Four Seasons Hotel, where Ronaldo is staying in the Kingdom Suite.

It is said he has been booked into the giant suite for a month. The suite is so exclusive that the cost is not even listed on the hotel's website.

According to the hotel, the Kingdom Suite "entertains guests with unparalleled views of Riyadh. Our newest two-storey suite spans the 48th and 50th floors of the Hotel, with a soaring living room, a private office, a dining room and a media room".

The five-star hotel will also offer Ronaldo "the best of dishes from China, Japan, India and the Middle East, with the freshest ingredients to order". His celebrity status also means that chefs at the hotel are providing him with an exclusive in-room dining service.

Staff have reportedly been asked not to request selfies with Ronaldo, though he has been accommodating towards guests. His partner, Georgina Rodriguez, is said to be delighted with their hotel residence.

The hotel is situated within a mall which houses luxury shops, such as Louis Vuitton. Also on the premises are tennis courts, massage treatments and a spa, which contains a sauna and steam room.

While Ronaldo and his family are staying in high luxury, they are also on the search for a more permanent place to live. At his unveiling, the former Manchester United star insisted he was excited to move to the Middle East.

“I’m so proud to make this big decision in my life. In Europe my work is done. I won everything and played for the most important clubs in Europe. This is a new challenge,” Ronaldo said.

“I’m a unique player. I want to beat a few records here. I really don’t worry about what people say. I am really, really happy to be here. I know the league is very competitive, I saw many games. I’m ready to keep playing football.”
