You need to pass a test if you want citizenship or to settle in the UK - but just how difficult is it, really?

Well, now's your chance to find out!

The government would normally charge you £50 to take the UK citizenship test - also known as the Life in the UK test - which quizzes you on our laws and the legal system, working and other details of life here.

But we've put together a handy array of example questions if you want to try your luck right now - but be warned, as many have found it far from easy.
