Strictly host Claudia Winkleman claims she has special power to talk to sheep
Claudia Winkleman is a sheep whisperer, she claims. The Strictly Come Dancing host reckons she has a special “power” for communicating with them, after twice engaging in baaah-my conversations with some lamb pals.
“I probably shouldn’t say this out loud, and I haven’t been drinking, but I believe I can communicate with sheep,” she insists. “I talk to them and they talk back to me. I’ve only met one twice, but there was a thing.”
Claudia was speaking to a listener on her Radio 2 show who claims she can talk to flies when she enquired about other animals she has such a connection with, prompting her to reveal her own Dr Doolittle skills that will no doubt lead to teasing from co-host Tess Daly.
What she said, she didn’t divulge. I love ewe, perhaps? Last night’s Strictly, did not see a contestant eliminated, as Nigel Harman was forced to pull out of the series after he injured his ribs jumping off a rostrum in rehearsals.
The Eastenders star ended up in hospital and was forced to withdraw along with his partner Katya Jones.

He said: “As I flew I was Peter Pan and as I landed I was in A & E. I’ve done something to my rib basically, and it’s quite painful. I’m a little bit high on painkillers as well but I’m having a lovely time.”
The judges’ scores from Saturday will be carried over to next week, when voting returns.
