Seven questions Prince Harry still needs to answer as bombshell book is released
Prince Harry ’s memoir Spare was accidentally put on shelves in Spain earlier this week leading to some huge revelations that have got everyone talking.
In the book, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he lost his virginity at 17 to an older woman, had taken drugs and even claimed that his brother had physically attacked him.
While the memoir shone some light on what happened behind closed doors, the revelations have left people with more questions than they started with.
The prince will tonight sit down with Tom Bradby for an exclusive interview.
Here are seven questions that still remain unanswered:
Kate Middleton swears by £19.99 rosehip oil that helps 'reduce wrinkles & scars'Which specific stories did family members plant and give to the press?
In the Netflix documentary ‘Harry and Meghan’, Harry explained that sometimes royal members have their press offices plant negative tabloid stories about other members to make themselves look better.
The Duke of Sussex went even further in his memoir claiming that both he and Prince William suspected that his dad’s office had been planting stories in 2019 to improve his image at his son’s expense.
Similar claims were made about Prince Williams's press team.
“To see my brother’s office copy the very same thing that we promised the two of us would never ever do, that was heartbreaking,” he said in the Netflix documentary.
However, no specifics were given as to which particular stories were handed over to media outlets.
Who he lost his virginity to?
In his book, Harry reveals that he lost his virginity aged 17 to an older woman in a field behind a pub.
He wrote: that “she treated me not unlike a young stallion” and that it was a “quick ride, after which she smacked my rump and sent me off to graze”.
The revelation has got everyone around the world trying to guess who the lady was, but it is unlikely that he will ever reveal her identity.
Did his family know about his drug taking?
One of the more shocking parts of the book was Harry’s admission of taking cocaine when he was 17-years-old.
Kate rules out receiving romantic gift from Prince William on Valentine's DayHe wrote: “It wasn’t very fun, and it didn’t make me feel especially happy as seemed to happen to others, but it did make me feel different, and that was my main objective. To feel. To be different.
“I was a 17-year-old willing to try almost anything that would alter the pre-established order.”
He also admitted that he took psychedelic drugs both for fun and therapeutically over the years including smoking cannabis in his garden at Kensington Palace and at Eton.
It’s not clear whether members of the royal family were aware of his illegal habits, so perhaps this will be addressed in tonight's interview.
Who made the comments about Archie's skin colour?
During the couple's interview with Oprah, Meghan claimed that Archie wasn’t made a prince after there were "concerns and conversations" about "how dark" his skin would be when he was born.
Both refused to say which family member had made the comments about their son.
What happened after the walkabout in Windsor after the Queen died?
Fans of the royal family swooned when the fab four stepped out of the car in Windsor to greet royal fans as they mourned the death of the Queen.
It was the first time the two couples had appeared together since they had infamously fallen out, but little information was given about what words were shared to get the couples to agree to the appearance or what happened afterwards, behind closed doors.
Did his family try to prevent the publication of the book?
It has been reported that Prince Harry had second thoughts about publishing the book after he visited the UK for the Queen’s jubilee.
A source who worked closely on Spare said: “The book was all ready to go but visiting his grandmother he had second thoughts.”
However, in true royal style there was no comment from the Royal Family prior to the publication of the book - whether there were any phone calls trying to dissuade Harry from publishing the book has not been revealed.
Have Meghan and Kate reconciled?
Stories of Meghan and Kate falling out have been well reported, but Harry has now claimed that a heated conversation unfolded when Meghan Markle said Kate Middleton had “baby brain” around the time of Meghan and Prince Harry's royal wedding.
Harry also detailed the flower girl incident in his memoir.
However, neither Harry or Meghan have confirmed whether the two ladies have made amends.
