The draw for the third round of the FA Cup will take place on Sunday, December 3.

The third round is one of the biggest of the competition, as teams from the Premier League and Championship enter. It's a chance for those clubs lower down the pyramid to play some of England's biggest sides, such as Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Manchester City are the defending champions after beating local rivals United 2-1 in June's final at Wembley. It was the first time the two Manchester clubs had faced each other in the final, with a brace from City's Ilkay Gundogan proving to be the difference.

City, United and the other 18 top-flight clubs will find out their opponents for the third round on Sunday. Here's everything you need to know about the draw...

When is the draw?

The draw will take place at around 12:55pm on Sunday (UK time).
