Travis Barker heads back to work as wife Kourtney and baby continue to 'lay low'

Travis Barker has posted an impressive video of his drumming and drumstick skills - but fans are still waiting for a glimpse of his new son.

The drumming clip is the first grid post Travis, 48, has made since October 30, when he shared a photo of himself and Kourt dressed up as movie ghoul Beetlejuice and his child bride, Lydia Deeze. That post came just two days before the November 1 birth of the couple’s first child, Rocky Thirteen Barker.

Now a month-and-a-day after Rocky's arrival, fans are eager for an update about the tot, with mystery surrounding both him, and Kourtney, 44. In fact, Kourt's disappearance from public view has fuelled rumours of a feud between her and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney explained that she stopped inviting her family to important moments in her life after she was criticised by mum Kris Jenner for excluding them from her pregnancy reveal.

In one segment of the episode, there was more tension between Kourtney and her mum. Cameras followed Kris and Khloe Kardashian as they travelled in a tour bus with the Barkers to one of Blink-182's concerts. As Kris looked around the vehicle, she seemed surprised at the amount of food there was, assuming there wasn't enough for everyone.

"Hey Kourt, what is Travis eating?" Kris asked. Kourtney seemed frustrated as she explained: "He doesn’t eat at this hour." Kris then continued to ask questions, with Kourtney growing more and more tense.

However, fans have been wondering when they'll see a photo of their son (Kourtney Kardashian/Instagram)

In a confessional, she explained: "This is why I don't invite you guys to stuff because it's not about you. Everything becomes about everyone and the way they wanna do it, all their complaints and I'm like, 'Ah I see why I didn't invite you to that other thing'."

It might not just be the ennui of being a cog in a well-oiled reality show family which has prompted Kourtney - who shares three other children with her ex Scott Disick - which has prompted her to lie low. In September, the couple had a serious scare back and she had to undergo "terrifying" foetal surgery to save her unborn baby's life.

She has also spoken about how she believes that her son, who was conceived naturally after several failed rounds of IVF, is a miracle and blessing from God.

An insider told OK! Magazine : "Kourtney is so in love. There hasn't been one minute where she hasn't thanked her lucky stars that her baby is here and healthy. Kourtney is just going to lie low for a very long time and soak in all the baby time."
