It was at the start of November that Kevin's death was confirmed. On November 12 the producer's father released a statement confirming his son's death. It read: "Kevin was so incredibly special, this world is going to be less without him."

Kevin was best known for working in the television industry, with him having worked on the likes of Euphoria and The Idol as well as Irma Vep. Jay Penske, CEO of PMC and a close personal friend of the television producer, shared a statement when the star's passing was announced. He wrote: "Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends.

"He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world. Our collective heart breaks for them, and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much, and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today," he concluded.

Kevin was born in Manhattan and studied cinema at Columbia University before starting his career in the film and television industries. He then made his producing debut when he worked on the 2005 indie film Wassup Rockers, which was directed by Larry Clark.

Kevin then went on to produce feature films including Operation Endgame, which was written by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and Arbitrage starring Richard Gere. All Is Lost starring Robert Redford is another he produced, plus two more Levinson movies, Assassination Nation and Malcolm & Marie.
