Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur appears confident that pop superstar Taylor Swift will be in attendance to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of their upcoming clash.

The 'Anti Hero' hitmaker's romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has captured the imaginations of music and sports fans alike in recent months. Ever since Swift's appearance at Arrowhead Stadium to see him in action versus the Chicago Bears in September, the pair have supported each other at their various engagements.

Two-time Super Bowl victor Kelce attended his new romance's final show in Buenos Aires last month, following the singer's previous four appearances at Chiefs games. Now, NFL fans have been wondering whether Swift will be among the guests in the VIP executive suites at Kelce's next game.

Packers coach LaFleur was among those who are expecting the 'Cruel Summer' songstress to take her seat at Lambeau Field on December 4. Speaking ahead of the encounter with the Chiefs, he was clearly embracing the prospect, saying: "Is she supposed to be here? That’s what I’ve heard. So we'll see. It is what it is. It comes with it I guess.

'That's just part of it, we're definitely more focused on the game," he confirmed while asserting that Swift's potential appearance would only add to the atmosphere in the stadium on the day, adding: "But I'm sure there'll be some fired up people in the stands if she shows up."

What is beyond question is that the '1989' songwriter is now free of any tour dates until February after wrapping up the last gig on the South American leg of her 'Eras Tour'. It is expected that she will spend the next couple of months with new love Kelce at the KC star's $6million mansion as they step up their romanc e.

Still, it might be a tall order for Swift to make an appearance at Lambeau Field after all, given that she has been in London this week. After attending the premiere of Beyonce's new 'Renaissance' concert movie in England, it does remain to be seen whether she will jet into Wisconsin to see her boyfriend in action.

Either way, Kelce seems enthusiastic about the prospect of facing the Packers. Speaking on his 'New Heights' podcast, he said: "'Shout out to the Packers fans, that stadium you just feel the history and how legendary it is and the fans, they make it an experience man. It's gonna be a fun one man, it's gonna be a fun one.

"Packers are playing good football right now, coming off a huge win against the Lions, and yeah... we know we're gonna be in a f****** dog fight," he predicted as he assessed the threat posed by the Chiefs' next opponents on what promises to be a real spectacle in Green Bay.

He added: "They're getting a few guys off the IR this week. So yeah, it's gonna be a challenge for us offensively and we're gonna need our defense and special teams to hold up their end, because you've gotta play a complete game against this team."
