DOI's Ryan Thomas cuddles skating partner as they practice steamy routine
Ryan Thomas has been snapped cuddling his skating partner Amani Fancy as the pair practice a steamy routine ahead of their debut Dancing on Ice performance.
Former Coronation Street actor Ryan, 39, was announced as part of the line-up in October this year. And, at the beginning of November, it was announced he was being paired with professional skater Amani, 26.
The skating duo have been hard at work practicing their skills on the ice – ready for the show's launch in January. And, new exclusive photos show the pair getting on like a house on fire during rehearsals today.
Ryan, who is engaged to Lucy Mecklenburgh, looked confident as he stood on the ice with Amani and had a big smile on his face as he rested his hands on the professional skater's shoulders while stood behind her. He remained in high spirits as he cuddled Amani, while she also embraced him, wrapping her arms around his waist and looking downwards towards the ice.

He added a pair of black cargo trousers to the ensemble, which was topped off with a cream wooly hat. Amani dressed in all black for rehearsals as she sported a long-sleeved black fleece and oversized cargo trousers, similar to Ryan's.

While on the ice rink, the pair were seen practicing some steamy moves with the actor running his hands down Amani's side as she stood in front of him with her arms towards the sky. While another sees them leaning on opposite sides as Amani stands in front of Ryan while he holds the skater's waist.
It seems the pair are keen to impress the judges as they were also photographed practicing some trickier moves – with the former Corrie star spinning the professional skater into a cartwheel-style move. And other photos show Amani skating backwards with her back to the floor while supported by her partner – who's expression indicates he's not the most confident with the tricky move – before he pulls her through his legs.

"I’ve honestly been hoping for this pairing since the @dancingonice line up came out after watching an interview Ryan was on, to the point where I’ve nagged production to tell me if it was him countless times but had no luck until today". She added: "Everything I thought Ryan may be, is true. The most genuinely empathetic, enthusiastic, cheeky, funny and ambitious man (all the things that make for a great skating partner) with such a huge heart, especially for his beautiful family! We’ve got an identical sense of humour (we spent most of the time cracking up and laughing at each other), the exact same habits, and an incredibly similar work ethic… I think I’ve met me in male form!.
