The daughter of Benidorm icon Sticky Vicky vowed to carry on her adult magic show legacy after learning the ropes from her mum, whose death was announced today.

The 80-year-old legendary entertainer, real name is Victoria María Aragüés Gadea, was famous around the world for her exotic dances and x-rated shows in the holiday resort with millions of tourists flocking to see her before he retired aged 72 in 2016. Maria today told fans today the terrible news as tributes were paid to the woman who spent three decades performing wild tricks on stage.

She remembered watching her mum’s bonkers routine when she was younger and spoke last year about keeping her popular yet barely-believable act going. Maria is still furious at the copy-cat artists who are nothing like the real thing - so she decided to follow her lead and keep it in the family.

Telling the Daily Star, she said: “I liked the show and I had no idea I could do something like that. I remember she was super shy and worried about what I would think. I told her that I loved seeing her and I liked her show. It never turned out for me to see her do a daring routine, my mind was already open and very mature.

"I could process what I saw in addition to having my own opinion. I decided to do her show when everyone wanted to take advantage of her name and lie to the public about who her daughter was. My intention was to ally myself with my mother to be stronger, and shut up the liars.”

Vicky spent more than 35 years building up a cult following, with tourists travelling miles to Spain to see her daring routine. Since she started the show in the mid-70s, it's estimated six million people watched her pull objects from inside her body, including ping-pong balls, handkerchiefs, sausages and flowers.
