A magnificent ten-bedroom mansion just doors away from the infamous Playboy Mansion has been sold for a mind-numbing £27.3 million.
The Los Angeles property contains a main three-story, six-bedroom house with 10 bathrooms, alongside a separate two-story guesthouse with four bedrooms and three baths. It covers a huge total of 21,000 square feet.
LA real estate investor Saeed Farkhondehpour had some difficulty in selling the property due to its sky-high price, but after around four years and two large price chops, he has finally sold the gigantic estate. It is a Neoclassical-style home in the Holmby Hills neighbourhood, which is also home to the world-famous Playboy Mansion.

But that won’t be a major concern to him - given he purchased the land for just £3.5 million over two decades ago.

The mansion was custom built by Farkhondehpour in 2020, after he first bought the 1.5 acre piece of land for £3.5 million in late 2002. He demolished a 1940s home designed by architect A. Quincy Jones in order to build the new mansion.

The show portrayed the story of the real life Atherton, California mansion which was home to disgraced biotech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes (Amanda Seyfried) and Sunny Balwani (Naveen Andrews).

The outdoors are almost more impressive with a large swimming pool, a pond, a beautiful fountain, a pergola with a barbecue and bar setup, a fire pit and a tennis court.
It is believed the property was bought by an interventional cardiologist, Vinod Jivrajka. Mr Jivrajka serves as a chairman of Episource Clarity Platform, a firm specialising in risk-adjustment services and solutions for healthcare providers. He was previously president and CEO of the AppleCare Medical Group, which he founded.
