Paul Burrell slams Endgame 'lies' and says 'Kate has one thing Meghan doesn't'
Paul Burrell has slammed Omid Scobie's latest explosive book on the Royal Family, Endgame, and taken a swipe at Meghan Markle.
The book, the full title of which is Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival, was penned by Omid – who has denied interviewing Meghan and her husband Prince Harry for the book. The piece of literature makes a series of wild claims about the Royal Family – including how Meghan named two members of the family who made racist comments about Archie in private letters to King Charles.
Omid has also denied being friends with the Duchess of Sussex but has told the Times: "I have mutual friends with [Meghan], and that definitely helps with getting information and breaking details."
Since the release of the book, there has been a number of people with connections to the Royal Family who have shared their opinions on it, including Piers Morgan, who pulled apart a big lie in it. Now, Princess Diana's former butler Paul has weighed in – and taken the opportunity to swipe at Meghan, 42, in the meantime.
During an appearance on GB News, Paul shared his disappointment in Prince Harry over the book – claiming information has come from 'close sources' of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He said: "Harry should know better than to do what he's doing. He was taught better than that. His mother brought him up very well, they had a very privileged lifestyle and they knew the rules.
Kate Middleton swears by £19.99 rosehip oil that helps 'reduce wrinkles & scars'"And here we go again because this information from this book is obviously coming from close sources to Harry and Meghan and you have to remember they're no longer part of the Royal Family: They’re celebrities. But their only USP is royal gossip, and whilst they can spin some more royal gossip and pull the carpet from under other members of the Royal Family then they're relevant. This isn’t the end game, absolutely not," he said. "A thousand yearsof history down the pan? I don't think so."
Paul then took aim at 39-year-old Harry's wife as he compared her to the Princess of Wales. He said: "Kate hasn't put a foot wrong and Kate has something which Megan doesn't have: Class. And class is timeless. Kate doesn’t have to answer back. She just has to keep doing what she's doing because she's doing it perfectly.

"You can see our king and queen in waiting doing exactly what we want them to do," he said. "They are going to be sat on the throne one day, Harry and Megan aren't and that must be a very bitter pill to swallow, knowing that Kate will have everything at her disposal and she has a wonderful family and a loving husband beside her, and that must rankle."
Paul claimed Meghan "didn't want to be a supporting actress", which he claimed was the 'real reason' why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved from the UK to the US. He then urged: "I wish them well but leave our Royal Family alone."
