The Holiday star Miffy Englefield was only six years old when she starred in the Hollywood blockbuster.

And now, 17 years later the now 24-year-old actress looks completely different as she recreated a famous scene from the holiday favourite. Miffy posed up as her co-star Cameron Diaz - who played her on-screen dad's crush - in the movie to relive the 'Party for One" moment Miffy was seen sat in bed alone surrounded by a bed full of food and drinks.

Posing in a lilac hat with a multi-coloured scarf around his neck - just like Cameron's in the movie - Miffy looked all grown up as she posed up surrounded with multiple blankets and a tray off food. The now TikTok star played Jude Law's daughter Sophie in the film. And now she has partnered with Home Exchange, which is a platform connecting solo travellers with hosts who want to swap their homes for free.

And they are now offering The Solo Holiday Party Packs as part of a competition, open to all solo travellers planning a trip by themselves over the festive period. On the back of research, it has emerged that 39% of Brits have chosen to spend Christmas Day alone. In the film, Cameron Diaz who played Amanda, is seen at a local village shop with a wine bottle in one hand and a shopping trolley full of goods in the other. She then heads back to her HomeExchange cottage sat in her bed dressed in a woolly hat and scarf surrounded by all of her purchases.

Speaking of her partnership with Home Exchange Miffy said: "17 years on since the movie’s premiere I am thrilled to be working with HomeExchange and recreating my co-star’s Party for One scene to launch the Solo Holiday Party Packs. I was only six when we filmed The Holiday and it feels very full circle to revisit this film that has played such a big role in my life by working with the company that made it all happen for Iris and Amanda."

She added: "I also recently embarked on a home exchange of my own with my family, so where I was once the young child around adults experiencing a fictional home swap, I had the opportunity to bring my daughter along for the journey and it was magical!"

Released back in 2006, The Holiday sees two women swap homes during the festive period – with Iris staying in Amanda's swanky Los Angeles pad while Amanda retreats to Iris' country escape.

Both are looking for a change of pace to their lives after suffering bad breakups, but end up finding themselves falling in love in one another's worlds – with Amanda falling for Iris' brother Graham and Iris finding love with Amanda's colleague, Miles.

The movie cost £70 million to make but went on to earn over £200 million at the box office. It is now a seasonal staple every year and the cottage used as the exterior for Iris' English abode is a big attraction for film fans.
