Huge savings are there to be had on current-gen consoles as part of Black Friday 2023, provided you don’t mind them being pre-owned.

We’re always told that recycling is a good thing. Well, if you’re a true believer in this philosophy and are in need of a new Nintendo Switch for Christmas, then now’s the time to prove it. Because in honour of the Black Friday 2023 sales, multiple storefronts on eBay have slashed the prices of refurbished consoles by 20%. Sure, this does mean that they’ve been previously used, but with code BUYBETTER20 they’re available at a huge discount until Monday, November 27.

If you prefer to do your gaming on the go just as much as portably, then you’ll want to pay attention to the two refurbished Nintendo Switch deals we’ve spotted. Music Magpie’s eBay storefront, for instance, has a White Nintendo Switch – OLED listed at just £316.99 but it drops to just £253.59 when the code is applied.

Second chance

Then there’s this Nintendo Switch Lite in Turquoise, also listed as refurbished and in “very good” condition. It’s only £142.39 down from £199.99. Just bear in mind that unlike the standard model listed above you won’t be able to dock it and play on your TV.

All the above deals on eBay will only be applied properly should you enter the code BUYBETTER20 at checkout. It has a maximum of three redemptions per user, so don’t get hasty before you take advantage of the 20% discount. Either way, the above prices are extremely tempting if you don’t mind getting your console refurbished, meaning it is pre-owned but has been cleaned up, checked, and certified to be resold at an acceptable condition.
