A woman is divorcing her husband after he admitted he only wants baby boys after welcoming girl triplets. She says he has finally shown his true colours and she doesn't want to bring up a family in that kind of environment. She and her husband were overjoyed when they discovered their first baby was a boy as he always wanted a son.

But tragedy struck when the child ended up stillborn. Her husband reacted furiously as he particularly wanted a boy and when she became pregnant again, had three female triplets. He claimed she was supposed to give him "at least one son" because she 'killed' his first one. But after her husband's response to their girls, she wanted to take action quickly and planned to move in with her brother and his husband BIL. She was quite certain she did not want herself and her daughters to live in that environment.

She decided she would divorce her husband to allow her family to grow up in a good place where they would feel safe. Calling herself Open_Breadfruit_5391 on Reddit, the mum outlined the reasons for her actions that will allow them to grow up in a safe environment where their needs will be met.

She said: "I am going to divorce my husband. He's shown the kind of man he is and I don't want to live in or raise daughters in that kind of environment. I'm going to move in with my brother and brother-in-law during all this. He and his husband have a nice, large house where I can have my own room and a nursery for the triplets. I originally worried that perhaps myself and three babies would be overwhelming or a burden to him and my brother-in-law but they assured me they would love to have us here."

She knew everything would be okay when her brother offered to put up a baby monitor in their bedroom after one of her triplets woke up during the night. And she reckons staying with her brother will provide a stable environment for her children. Her plan is to live with the couple until the babies are old enough where for daycare, which her brother-in-law has offered to pay for.

She hopes this will allow her to find a job, save up money and eventually move into a nice place of her own with her daughters. The mum is grateful to the couple for their kindness and says "they truly feel like angels." She added: "After my husband came home from church and saw that most of my stuff was gone he blew up my phone, but my bropther-in-law called him for me and said that he would pay for my husband to get therapy for his grief over our son and also told him to leave me alone.

"My husband has not tried to contact me since, and he has yet to give my brother-in-law an answer for his therapy offer." One user responded to her heartfelt post saying: "I am so happy you have a strong support group! You are doing what is best for you and your girls. Giving them a happy, safe life with people who care about them. Do not let your soon-to-be ex gaslight you into going back to him. He has shown you who he really is and you need to remember that."
