The pair have reportedly tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony, with the Easy On Me hitmaker seemingly 'confirming' their nuptials.

Chart-topping songstress Adele met sporting star Rich Paul years ago, maintaining a low-profile before the pair sparked romance rumours in 2021. Attending an NBA game together gave it all away, but Adele "didn't mean to go public".

Since then, the two have gone from strength to strength and reports suggest the two are now married. Pop culture account Deuxmoi reveals the Someone Like You singer 'confirmed' the couple's status during pal Alan Carr's US debut comedy tour in LA. But who is Adele's beau? Here The Mirror tells you everything you need to know about Rich Paul.

Where did Adele meet Rich Paul?

Hello hitmaker Adele bumped into sporting manager Rich Paul at a party "a few years" before 2021, before the pandemic. She confessed being "a bit drunk" in an interview after the pair were first spotted together.

"I said, 'Do you want to sign me? I'm an athlete now'. He was dancing. All the other guys were just sitting around. He was just dancing away," she told Vogue Magazine. They managed to keep things on the down low before being seen together at the NBA Finals.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that the pair had been dating for "a few months". Continuing her interview in Vogue, Adele explained: "I didn't mean to go public with it. I just wanted to go to the game. I just love being around him. He's great. He's so f***ing funny. He's so smart, you know." They have since enjoyed several holidays and a trip to the Super Bowl.

What does Rich Paul do for work?

Rich is a huge name in the US sporting world. He's the founder of Klutch Sports Group, a management company representing some of basketball's biggest stars, including LeBron James, Ben Simmons and Trae Young.

Per PEOPLE, he oversaw the New Orleans Pelicans' trade of Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers, who would go on to win the championship in 2020. Rich was described as "absolutely unrelenting in getting his players what they want, and he will use every means available to him to do that" in a profile published in The New Yorker.

Does Rich Paul have any children?

Rich has three children, but little is known about his relationships before dating Adele. Rich spoke about his kids, one being a daughter who was "a junior in college" at the time of an interview with E! News back in 2022.

"As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough," he said. "But now, looking as an older dad, if I was to have more kids, I'm looking forward to being a different dad." After hinting at wanting more, he added: "Oftentimes, as you're building a business, you're on the go, you're moving around, the kids grow up fast in a blink of an eye. Next thing, you know, they're walking, and they're riding the bike, running and flipping around, and that's the problem."

Is Adele married to Rich Paul?

After recent reports, it's thought the two have tied the knot. But neither of them have actually confirmed the couple's news. During an appearance on CBS Mornings, 41-year-old Rich was asked by host Gayle King if she could refer to Adele as "Mrs Paul". He replied: "You can say whatever you want." He then added: "It's not for the media."

Rich explained how he isn't the "type of person to put [his] personal life" in the spotlight. The couple are notoriously private about their romance and relationship expert Louella Alderson believes it's because they face a "unique set of challenges".

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: "Despite her superstar status, Adele has always lived a relatively private life, especially when it comes to her relationships. Fame brings with it a unique set of challenges that can put strain on any relationship—celebrities often face constant public scrutiny, invasion of privacy, and a lack of personal space.

"This intense spotlight can lead to increased pressure and stress that can negatively impact their personal lives. The desire for privacy in their romantic relationships is a protective measure to maintain a sense of normalcy and intimacy away from the public eye."
