Paris Hilton walked into the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix after party and was greeted by a barren room.

The socialite was set to DJ a set at the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas, but was put up to the task of entertaining an empty room. One fan posted a video of Paris' shock entrance and captioned it:“The priceless moment when Paris Hilton realizes there’s no one there at the F1 after party."

She wore a grand look for the occasion, too. Paris stepped onto the dance floor in a bedazzled, shimmering racing suit displaying the Hilton hotels logo across her chest.

The star lifted her sunglasses to assess the damage as another DJ announced her attendance. The Real Vegas Locals Instagram account, which shared the original video, was flooded with comments critiquing Paris' entrance and laughing at the crowd or lack-thereof.

One fan pointed out how much the world has changed since Paris' prime. They wrote: "No one shows up at these parties anymore like the early 2000s mid 2000s..especially with social media."

Another bashed Paris and reference Kim Kardashian. "Remember when you’re assistant is worth 100 times what you are," the wrote in reference to the time that Kim was Paris' assistant. One fan wrote: "The panic set in the moment she lifted those sunglasses."

Quite a few people had sympathy for Paris. A local wrote: "People outside of Vegas keep thinking this is a dis at Paris. It is not. She’s a very frequent visitor to Las Vegas and we absolutely LOVE her. This was a dis at F1. Vegas locals had to deal with F1 construction and drama for a year and were so over it. So it was funny that there was no one there at F1 after party, not Paris Hilton’s DJ moment. - thank you!"

After causing tumultuous construction and traffic, the Grand Prix is regarded as disastrous among locals. An early FP1 race was cancelled due to an ajar manhole cover causing massive damage to a vehicle. Plus, the races started too late for most Americans to easily watch from their homes.

Racers bashed the route itself, too. "I don't think it's that exciting. For me, a street circuit is not that exciting, especially with these new cars, they are just too heavy. When you have low grip, that doesn't help," Max Verstappen told Sporting News. Overall, the impact the Grand Prix had was just as abysmal as the turn out for Paris' party.
