I'm A Celebrity star banned from Bushtucker trial because of GG curves

I'm A Celeb sees campmates perform gruelling and often dangerous challenges, which medics sometimes deem to be too much for certain stars.

But one former contestant of the ITV reality show not only had fears about the contents of the Bushtucker trials, but about what might happen if she did partake in them. In the show's 2008 line-up, which saw Joe Swash crowned as king of the jungle, stars competing included Blue singer Simon Webbe, journalist Esther Rantzen, and Nicola McLean.

The glamour model, 42, revealed last year that ITV bosses said she couldn't do one of the trials due to her GG breast implants. Speaking to the Daily Star last year, Nicola said: "There was something in there, I can’t remember exactly but I couldn’t do a trial because of my implants.

"There was something with a harness because we were worried they’d end up around the back, as implants can move, but yeah I can’t remember what it was but I wasn’t allowed to do something. Maybe it was laying on my front in the challenge that I couldn’t do, as they were in the way or something but they’re always in the way, to be honest."

Following her stint Down Under, the Page 3 star also went on to appear in Celebrity Big Brother in 2012. Despite being a popular contestant, she was the sixth housemate to be evicted but ended up becoming a regular fixture on Big Brother's Bit on the Side.

A year after leaving I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! she married footballer Tom Williams and the couple have two sons together, Rocky and Striker Williams. Meanwhile, in this year's series, which kicked off just last night, controversial politician Nigel Farage also might get away with skipping some of the trials due to health concerns.

The Brexiteer, 59, says he is unable to do anything too physical and has been ruled out of some trials for health reasons. Asked what trials he couldn't do, Farage, who suffered severe injuries in a light plane crash in 2010, said: "Anything involving weightlifting, I’d be out. I’ve obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions, and goodness knows what else.

“So they are fully aware that I’m a little bit damaged when it comes to bodily structure. But having said that, I can still do most things. I doubt any of the trials are actually going to kill me, although I don’t think they’ll all be a bag of fun. But look, I signed up for this. It’s in for a penny in for a pound. So let’s go.”
