Kerry Katona was criticised by a 'miserable' fan who called her Christmas display 'unnecessary.'
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 43, recently took to Instagram to share a video of her cosy Christmas decorations. The front of her house was decked out in endless festive lights as she and the family prepared for the festive season. In the video, an excited Kerry was driving up towards the spacious home.
She captioned the post: " @decorators.for.christmas and a new year!" Most fans loved the decorations but a few bitter people took to the comment section to criticise her for the lavish display. One annoyed troll said: "And there are those that cannot afford that, but hey good for you."
Another quickly came to her defence, responding: "I can't afford it either, but it doesn't bother me that Kerry or anyone else can, if it bothers you so much that you feel the need to comment, why are you looking at what Kerry is doing and posting about? Comments like yours are wholly unnecessary!"

Another posted: "Don't be bitter about it. If you could afford it you probably would! I would! I love seeing people doing up their houses like this at Christmas." Kerry recently impressed fans after she revealed she put up three Christmas trees in her house in preparation for December.
Earlier this month, took to Instagram to share snaps of the Christmas decorations around her lavish home in Cheshire and explained why she has put them up early. The former Atomic Kitten star posed next to three themed trees in her luxury mansion, with one decorated in Grinch merchandise, including a huge Grinch poking out of the top and green ribbons and baubles.
“Well, guys, it is officially Christmas at the Katona residence!!!!!! Yes, I know, I know it's early!!!!!!! But I go on tour for panto in December, so I want to make the most of the Christmas spirit with The Rugrats,” Kerry wrote. Fans were amazed by the attention to detail, as the TV star admitted she had enlisted the help of a local company to dress her house ready for the festive season. Next to each tree was a colour-coordinated nutcracker statue, and Kerry was dressed up in a Christmas jumper for the occasion.
