UFC legend Nate Diaz has suggested he will reject Jake Paul's offer of a two-fight deal which included an MMA bout.

The former lightweight title contender left the UFC last year, and is expected to be made a number of offers from around combat sports, including boxing, MMA and bare-knuckle fighting. But the most intriguing for fans was the recent two-bout deal suggested by Paul where they box, before training for six months and doing a fight in the PFL's 'smart cage'.

Diaz has attended the last two of Paul's boxing fights where he faced ex-UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva. He left the Woodley fight before he could see the YouTube star knock out his rival, but was in attendance and had an altercation with members of Paul's team at the Silva fight.

But Diaz later tweeted the logo of the Rizin promotion for which boxing legend Floyd Mayweather made an appearance last year. Manny Pacquiao also recently revealed he has agreed a deal with the Japanese outfit and could now be joined by Diaz.

YouTube star Paul recently announced he will be making the switch from boxing to MMA, where he will be competing in the sport's second biggest promotion PFL. He will also take an ownership stake in the company, along with his manager and former UFC Chief Financial Officer Nakisa Bidarian.

"I've already disrupted boxing and now it's time to disrupt MMA," Paul told fans in a YouTube video announcing his signing with PFL. "I know this is such a tough sport and it's not going to be easy. But if I could do it in boxing, I could do it in MMA. I'm so dedicated to this that I offered Nate Diaz a two-fight deal.

"First, we box. Then six months later we fight MMA in the PFL 'smart cage' and lay it all on the line. If that's not balls, then I don't know what is. Nate Diaz, I'm down to fight you in your own damn sport. It's a two-fight deal, let's make this happen."

Diaz recently fought his way out of his UFC contract when he defeated Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in September. He is in limbo at the moment due to the complexity of their deals, but is expected to be inundated with fight offers from around MMA, boxing and even bare-knuckle combat.
