Nicolas Cage and ex have never met twin grandkids, 3, due to ugly family feud

Nicolas Cage and ex Christina Fulton have not met their twin three-year-old granddaughters due to a feud surrounding an allegedly "fraudulent restraining order."

The pair's son, Weston Coppola Cage, and Christina are suing Weston's ex-wife, Hila Arounian. They are accusing her of embezzling $100,000, defamation, and a false restraining order. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, that restraining order has prevented the family from seeing Weston's children.

The documents read: "…this type of character assassination is part of a disturbing pattern of behavior in which Ms. Arounian levies false, malicious allegations against people as a means of coercion and manipulation."

Christina claimed in a statement to The Sun that Hila "created a hostile narrative and environment," which has blockaded the family from having any "relationship with the children both privately and publicly." She explained: “It is devastating not to see these kids. Nicolas and I haven’t been able to meet our two beautiful little granddaughters at all since they were born. We’re in a quiet, horrible nightmare. It’s insane, painful, hurtful, devastating.”

She added: "As a classy, respectful Hollywood family we are appalled and shocked at how Hila could do something like this. There are no words for what she has done. As a mother herself, I fail to understand how she can cause so much disgrace and hurt."

Christina is further alleging Hila was emotionally abusive and accuses her of manipulating Weston to be distant from this family. Weston echoes similar sentiments in his own lawsuit. In fact, Christina accused Hila of giving him a harsh ultimatum — file a restraining order against his own mother or she allegedly wouldn't let him see his own children. Christina also said that Hila filed the restraining order under false pretenses, but a judge threw it out, anyway.

According to additional court documents, Weston believes Hila took "advantage" of him while his mental health was in a low place. Additionally, he believes he is facing "retaliation" for filing divorce papers against her because she is allegedly spreading "malicious lies."

He said: "I have been a target of defamation for my entire life. I’ve stayed quiet but now that I am facing the worst traducement and defamation yet I will be taking immense and aggressive action."
