A heady mix of gun-toting action comedies such as Will Smith's Bad Boys II and thoughtful dramas in Kevin Costner's JFK head an all-star line-up as Netflix gets 2023 off to a bang.

And if these two box office heavyweights aren't enough to get pulses raising, there's also Jason Statham's fantastically silly Crank - where an assassin has to keep his heart rate up or he will die.

Delving deeper into January's roster of goodies we also get the steamy Dangerous Liasons, where two nobles play a highly risky game of seduction when a bet is made to corrupt a newly-married woman in 18th century France.

If horror's your bag, then look no further than Incantation - which has Li Ronan getting cursed after breaking a religious taboo.

There's also plenty for the little ones to choo-choose from, including Thomas & Friends as well as the epic animated tale of The Sea Beast.
