A stunning £3m countryside mansion with its own orchard is up for grabs in a prize draw.

The renovated six-bed countryside retreat in Somerset will come free for one lucky Omaze winner - along with £100,000 in cash. Set in acres of mature woodlands and rolling fields, the house is just eight miles from the city of Bath - one of the UK's best known beauty spots.

Local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long term rental value of between £6,000 - £8,000 per month. Along with making the future winner a multi-millionaire, the raffle is also raising money for the RSPCA - Britain's leading animal welfare charity.

Omaze say that they have already guaranteed the charity a £1 million minimum donation. The prize draw is being backed by Welsh RSPCA ambassador and actress Joanna Page, best known for her role as Stacey in 'Gavin & Stacey'. Joanna said: “I’m incredibly pleased to be supporting the RSPCA, a charity that has been close to my heart for a long time.

"The RSPCA has been rescuing animals from neglect and cruelty for nearly 200 years and still continues to work hard to improve the lives of animals every single day. This is why the Omaze partnership is so important as the money raised will help the RSPCA to continue their vital work rescuing and rehabilitating over 100,000 animals in need each year.”

Featuring a stunning stone façade, the 3,850 sq ft house is a gardener's dream; with a greenhouse and raised beds, watered from the property's own private well. Designed with a classical look in mind, the home even has an orangery and a drawing room, with French doors and electronic sky lights - fitted with solar blinds.

Photos of the house also show its stunning kitchen, with Miele appliances and a Fisher and Paykel wine fridge, two built-in American-sized fridge and freezers and a larder. Additionally, the property also includes an extensive oak framed triple garage and workshops to the north-west of the house, with a separate access onto the driveway.

This is the not the first time Omaze has partnered with the RSPCA to raise money for the charity's work rescuing and supporting vulnerable animals across the UK. James Oakes, Chief International Officer at Omaze, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the RSPCA again for our latest house draw in Somerset.

"By offering this magnificent property, along with £100,000 in cash, we’re giving people the chance to live mortgage and rent free for the rest of their life - as well as raising money for charities whilst introducing them to brand new audiences that they otherwise wouldn't reach.

“We’re tremendously proud that the Omaze community has already raised £22,250,000 for good causes across the UK.” Animal neglect and abandonment is reaching a three-year high this festive season, and many RSPCA centres are already full to bursting with unwanted pets.

The money raised will enable the RSPCA to continue carrying out its vital work - and help their rescue officers to help even more animals that are in desperate need of help. People who enter the contest by midnight on Sunday December 10 online, or by Tuesday December 12 via post will also get the chance at winning £250,000 in cash.

Draw entries for this latest property are available now at Win a House in Scotland | £3.5 Million Grand Prize | Omaze UK. The draw closes on Tuesday December 26 for online entries and Wednesday 3rd Jan 2024 for postal entries
