Tristan and Kylie finally discuss cheating scandal that tore his family apart
Tristan Thompson has finally apologised to Kylie Jenner after cheating on her sister Khloé Kardashian with her then-best friend Jordyn Woods.
They say sorry is the hardest word, and four years on from the scandal, the basketball player decided to clear the air with Kylie – better late than never. Back in 2019, Thompson was caught red-handed hooking up with Woods, who is six years younger than him, at a house party.
The incident ended the tight-knit friendship between Kylie and Woods, who the former used to think of as a sister. In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Thompson, 32, hoped to make amends for the fallout of his actions in a heart-to-heart with Kylie, now 26.

It really bothers me, because we’ve always had such a dope relationship, and I feel like everyone got affected differently, you know? But I think you were affected the most by a situation with, ya know, losing a sister, basically,” he began. “You guys were two peas in a pod, so the fact that I put myself in that situation, that wasn’t right and wasn’t smart and made it tough for you and Khloé, because at the end of the day, you have your best friend and then you have your sister, who you love more than anything, so it’s 100 percent on me.”

The Canadian-American sports star, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, stressed that he was “sorry” and felt “bad about it”, adding: “The fact that I came with my poor decision and being a f***ing idiot and just being young and stupid, I wanted to say sorry again for that.”
Tristan Thompson apologised to KylieMum-of-two Kylie, currently dating Timothée Chalamet, didn’t make Thompson, who was 27 at the time, jump through any hoops and accepted his apology, before reflecting on her relationship with model and influencer Woods, now also 26. “I was so dependent with Jordyn that I could have never imagined my life without her. We probably would have still been living together, and I think she needed to grow without me, I needed to grow without her. But, you know, Jordyn and I are cool now,” she responded, adding that they still “talk” and “catch up” now and then.
Thompson, who shares children True and Tatum with Khloe, 39, referred to himself as a “f***ing idiot,” to which Kylie concurred: “You do some dumb s***. I think you have such a good heart and good energy, and like, to know you is to love you – your spirit and everything – so it is confusing ‘cause some of the s*** you do is really f***ing crazy.”
The makeup guru admitted it would be hard to completely look past the pain Thompson has caused – he also fathered another child with Maralee Nichols while secretly engaged to Khloé – but concluded: “I want to move on from that. I just want the best for Khloé. She’s the most magical person on the planet, as I’m sure you know, and just deserves the absolute best.”
