Prince Harry admitted watching his wife Meghan Markle's sex scenes in Suits was a 'mistake'.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, started dating Meghan in mid-2016, with the two tying the knot in 2018 and later welcoming two children.

However, while the two were still dating, Harry made the 'mistake of Googling and watching some of her love scenes online'.

Prince Harry wrote in his upcoming memoir, Spare, that he needs 'electric-shock therapy' to get the scenes out of his head, as reported by Page Six.

"I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room,” he wrote. "I didn’t need to see such things live."

In Suits, Meghan took on the role of lawyer Rachel Zane between 2011 to 2018.

Her love interest in the show was Mike Rosse – which was played by Patrick J. Adams.

In the season finale of the second series of Suits, Meghan's character Rachel gives into her feelings for Mike and the pair end up in a steamy tryst.

Spare will be released on Tuesday, January 10, and discusses everything from his relationship with Prince William to losing his virginity.

Meghan previously opened up about filming the sex scenes with Patrick in 2017.

The two revealed one of the more strange moments on the show for her was the scene where her character Rachel finally gives in to her attraction to Patrick's Mike Ross.

Quizzed about what she thought was her stand-out awkward scene in the show, Meghan revealed it was the now famous filing room fling that stood out in her mind.

Answering the question first, Patrick said: "Sex in the file room was weird. Yeah, that was a little strange."

To which Meghan said: "Of course it was weird!"

Meanwhile, after the Duchess of Sussex's relationship with Harry came to light, the palace reportedly placed a few tight restrictions on the show's creative team and what they could include in their scripts.

In Tom Bower's explosive book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, he unpicked the truth behind the couple by speaking to 80 people who know Harry and Meghan personally.

Tom wrote: "Fearing the worst, from bitter experience, the Palace stepped in to control Meghan’s life. Aaron Korsh was told to submit all future Suits scripts to Nick Collins, Meghan’s agent.

"Scripts were thereafter forwarded to Kensington Palace for approval. Orders for changes of words were sent back from London to Los Angeles."
