Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas and his wife Caroline have hinted at a feud by liking a series of harsh tweets.

The former Emmerdale actor has suggested he's not happy about his recent exit from the BBC dance show, after approving of several tweets claiming he'd been unfairly evicted from the competition.

Adam and Caroline have liked multiple comments claiming Adam was "robbed", implying that they believe he shouldn't have been eliminated over Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington.

The 35 year-old landed in the dread dance-off for a second week in a row against the legendary journalist and her New Zealand dance partner on Sunday evening, before being axed by the judges in an unanimous vote.

"You were ROBBED! Never been so annoyed about the decision there," one person raged on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another noted, "Luba liking this comment, she KNOWS they should've stayed."

Judges Shirley, Motsi, Craig and Anton all agreed that Angela's technique in her waltz to 'Fascination' was better than Luba and Adam's rumba routine to Calum Scott's 'Dancing On My Own'. However, many viewers have criticized Kai for failing to challenge the 79-year-old enough with his choreography.

"Maybe Angela R has more to give, but it has been hindered by Kai's play-it-safe choreography," one person said, while another argued that the Kiwi dancer's routines were too slow.

"Many people, including myself, have been criticising Angela and the producers," another viewer said. "And Kai's choreography seems to not be criticised, yet it seems to be too much based on elegance and slow-controlled movements and overly spinning round and round, too much like on the Waltzers fairground ride.

"Perhaps he could include more out of hold with aggressive, sharp movements while just increasing the tempo ever so slightly for this week's paso for more intensity."

However, others defended Kai's choice to avoid intensive dance moves with his 79-year-old partner. "She [Angela] has likely got some arthritis at her age and sharp turns and pivots can be pretty hard on the knees, for example," one person argued.

"I disagree, I think it's the pro's job to figure out what the celeb can handle and I think he's really good at that," another Strictly fan said. "In his first year he got AJ to the final before she had to pull out through injury and last year he did a great job even though they were out first (I think she'd have been out first whatever happened)." This positive feedback was echoed by a fourth person, who hailed Kai for doing a "fantastic job."

"He's done brilliantly at adapting routines so that they're accessible to Angela, are they traditional versions of the dance? Maybe not but they're recognisable. Don't get me wrong I think it's her turn to go, but Kai has done a fantastic job. At least he knows he's guaranteed Blackpool this year," they wrote.
