All Creatures Great and Small fans left 'crying' as fan-favourite announces exit

All Creatures Great and Small fans were left in tears as a beloved character announced their exit.

In Thursday night's episode, Mrs Hall (played by Anna Madeley) handed in her notice to Siegfried Farnon (Samuel West), leaving him heartbroken. She emotionally tells Siegfried: "I need to talk to you about my position, Mr Farnon," before pulling out her resignation letter. She continues: "The thing is," as the vet interrupts with: "You're leaving me."

Mrs Hall tries to explain her decision in the letter and discusses her notice period, saying: "A month seems too little, would three months suffice? If you need longer, of course, I'll give you longer. The last thing I want to do is inconvenience you."
