Shania Twain tour bus accident leaves crew members hospitalised

Shania Twai n's tour bus has reportedly been involved in a terrifying incident which is said to have left a number of crew hospitalised.

The singer, 58, and her team were traveling between Winnipeg and Saskatoon in Canada when the crash is said to have happened. Shania wasn't reported to have been on the bus at the time of the incident and has been reported as being safe.

It comes as the country singing icon continues her Queen of Me Tour in which fans have been loving her high energy performances.

Shania's management company confirmed the accident in a statement shared with the Mirror. A spokesperson for Maverick Management told us: "One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon.

"Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals."

The statement continued: "We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”

CTV New s reported 13 members of staff were injured in the incident. The publication said the vehicle involved in the rollover appeared badly damaged.

The incident took place as the crew and singer travelled the approximately 500 mile journey from Winnipeg, where Shania performed on Tuesday, to Saskatoon, where she is scheduled to entertain on Thursday.

It remains to be seen as to whether the upcoming concert at the SaskTel Center will go ahead. The tour has so far had the popular singer perform her hit tunes to sell-out crowds in North America and Europe.

The Canadian pop legend has been releasing catchy tunes since the early 1990s and has collated some of her biggest songs for her current setlist. Her attire has had her wearing a number of eye-catching outfits on stage, with fans torn on their thoughts over the garments.
