MAFS split 'sealed' as contestant tears up as they 'check out' of relationship

Married At First Sight UK viewers witnessed another couple's relationship hit a wall during the dramatic Homestay Week.

On Monday night, Thomas and Rozz struggled to navigate their relationship in the real world away from the confines of the experiment. The duo struggled a lot during the beginning stages of their relationship but managed to work through their issues and build a deep connection.

Their relationship was going so well that they started exploring their sex lives together. At the previous dinner party, they took their connection to the next level by secretly using a sex toy during a group dinner party. Thomas and Rozz used the vibrating gadget at the table without the other couples noticing. Rozz was sitting on her husband's lap while he operated the toy.

However, the cheeky bubble they were living in popped when they arrived at her family home. She admitted her heart "wasn't in it" after returning home. Sitting at the kitchen table with her husband, she told him: "I feel like now that I'm back to reality, I'm stuck and spiralling down like, Am I ready for a relationship? Maybe not."

Thomas told her he hasn't been asking for much and believes there's something there worth exploring. "Obviously, I did have feelings," she replied before he questioned her use of the past tense. "In the apartments, we did growing something, we were working but I feel like now that I've come back to my life I realised how hectic it is, how sociable it is and how demanding it is and it made me realise that this world I'm living in and this reality is totally different from the apartments," she continued.

"And I've just been like the car's going at full speed and I just want to put the break on and jump out." He told her to ask herself whether she wants to keep trying or tell herself she's not ready." She then admitted to Thomas: "I think now that I'm back home, I have checked out. I am checking out. I just feel like I can't do it."

Rozz apologised to him before the camera cut to him tearing up as he told the cameras he would've 'loved to be with her as he has strong feelings for her.' He said: "I don't think that's enough for her, I just feel gutted." Thomas took the comments like a champ and packed his bags and said goodbye to her.

When the episode ended, a teaser clip aired of the final commitment ceremony as Thomas was seen crying and telling the cameras he was "heartbroken" after Rozz admitted to something to him and the experts. Viewers struggled to watch the scenes unfold as they rushed to social media to discuss the episode.

"Rozz breaking Thomas heart was so difficult to watch. He deserves the world and more, most the men do!" one user said while another added: "Group hug for Tom. Tom you're lovely and there will be somebody out there for you." One person posted: "So Rozz wants to be single and has wasted everybody's time."

Married At First Sight UK is available to watch Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on E4*
