Barbra Streisand is currently gearing up for the release of her tell-all memoir, which will hit bookstore shelves tomorrow, and in a new excerpt from the book she recalls her meeting with The Godfather actor Marlon Brando.

In the new book, My Name Is Barbra, the hitmaker and actress will look back over her six-decade career as a singer, actor, and director. And within the confines of the cover, she'll also dish about past loves and regrets, all while setting the record straight about various topics.

Barbra, who will turn 82 next year, has been married twice. Her first husband was actor Elliott Gould, whom she married in 1963. But while she was married to Elliott, she met Marlon Brando who made a very racy confession that left her "taken aback".

Recalling when she met Marlon Brando, who died in 2004, Barbra spoke about their conversation, when three hours in, he looked her in the eyes and said: "I'd like to f**k you." Responding to the racy admission, Barbra replied: "That sounds awful," according to a new excerpt of the book seen by People Magazine.

Changing his approach, Barbra recounted how he then said: "Okay. Then I’d like to go to a museum with you." She then said that she thought it was "very romantic" and would like to do that a lot.

"He’d hit on a fantasy of mine . . . to walk through a museum with someone I was very attracted to and look at great art . . . exploring it together," she writes, before recalling how she remembered his wife who was in the other room.

Barbra then writes about how she and Marlon spoke about marriage and why he was married to his wife, Tarita. He told her that his wife was like a "ripe piece for fruit", before turning his attention to her marriage to Elliott, whom she was with at the time.

Completely shocking the singer, Marlon said: "I don’t think you’re going to be with Elliott much longer." Barbra writes: "I was taken aback. 'I’m married to him. What do you mean?' 'He’s not good‑looking enough for you'."
