National Lottery results — Winning numbers for Wednesday's January 4's jackpot

The winning numbers have been announced for this evening's National Lottery draw.

The main lotto numbers in tonight's draw are 1, 4, 9, 32, 42, 58 and the the Bonus ball is 26.

In the Thunderball the main numbers are 5, 10, 14, 16 and 19 and the Thunderball is 1.

There's no rollover for tonight's jackpot but it still has the potential to be a life-changing sum for one lucky winner, with a huge £2million up for grabs.

Another £500,000 is available to win in the Thunderball draw.

If you've missed out this time you can still be in with a chance to win, with the next draw being just a few days away.

Lotto draws happen twice a week on a Wednesday and Saturday.

To play you'll need to pick 6 numbers from 1 to 59, or if you don't feel like choosing your own you can also opt for a Lucky Dip instead, where the numbers will be randomly selected for you.

It costs £2 per play and you can purchase tickets online every day from 6am till 11pm as well as in participating stores.

You can buy up to 10 slips at a time and can play up to seven lines of numbers on each play slip.

However, it's important to remember that you can only buy tickets up to 7:30pm on draw days.

The draw takes place at 8pm every Wednesday and at 7:45pm every Saturday.

You can win a prize for having three of the winning numbers, with the prize totals increasing the more numbers you have.

To win the jackpot you'll need to have all six main numbers.

You can also be in with a chance of taking home £1million if you have five main numbers as well as the Bonus ball.
