A few nips and tucks with celebrities is almost expected, but often it's the female stars that go under the knife - but not always.

Some of the biggest male stars including Robbie Williams, Simon Cowell and Rylan Clark have all been partial to a bit of help from a surgeon, whether it's a nose job, removing man boobs or even just a touch of botox or injectables. One star has even dropped a whopping £20k on veneers to give them a dazzling smile that is picture perfect.

We've revealed which male celebrities have had a helping hand and turned to the experts to help make them look how they do today...

Robbie Williams

The former Take That star has been partial to a bit of Botox to help him look younger than his 49 years, yet the star has also revealed he's planning to get even more help with his appearance as a '50th birthday present' to himself.

In the past Robbie has admitted to having had fillers and a chin reduction, which he joked made him look like "Desperate Dan".

In an interview with The Sun, he revealed: "Most people in the entertainment industry have had it done but you wouldn’t know."

Rylan Clark

The former X Factor star and This Morning favourite is no stranger to a little help with his image, with the star openly talking about the few "bits and bobs" he has had done to help him feel more confident in his appearance.

A decade ago in 2013, the TV presenter splashed £25,000 on veneers, which he then later replaced after it caused his jaw to swell. Choosing a more toned down smile, Rylan told the Daily Star: "These teeth were the best and worst decision of my life."

The star has also spoken about his changing appearance in his autobiography The Life Of Rylan in 2016 where he wrote: "I laughed and laughed SO much my lip burst open and collagen filler started to dribble out. I'd had a bit too much filler put in the week before… The f***ing horror, live on TV and half my lip was spread across the floor."

Unlike many stars who will try and keep any work they've had done as hush hush, Rylan has always been refreshingly honest as he shared: "If you are genuinely unhappy with something and you’re in a position to change it, then I don’t think people need to be vilified for that."

Simon Cowell

The king of talent shows, Simon Cowell is also no stranger to a helping hand with his appearance.

He previously told The Sun: "I haven’t had a facelift or anything, I have had a bit of Botox or whatever but kind of nothing drastic. So, when I hear about this stuff honestly, it does make me laugh. Over the years people have said that I’ve had everything done."

He also told The Sun in another interview: "There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all. Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero."

Craig Revel Horwood

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood is another male celebrity who has gone under the knife. He chose to have surgery in 2014 to remove his "moobs" - aka man boobs.

The star previously joked that he "used to be a C-cup and now I’m an A" following the operation to remove excess chest tissue. The dancing judge had liposuction to remove the fat through a four-millimetre incision, after admitting that he felt self conscious about his chest.

On the White Wine Question Time podcast, he said: "I could never take my shirt off on the beach, and worried about getting undressed in front of a new partner."

The chest op wasn't the only surgery for Craig, as the star also had a nose job in 2016. He nearly had more work done when he admitted he was tempted to rid himself of wrinkles with Botox. However, he decided against it after seeing how badly it went for others including Simon Cowell.

Miles Nazaire

Reality TV star Miles Nazaire is no stranger to baring all in the public eye, as the Made In Chelsea star has also been under the knife to have excess chest tissue removed.

The excess breast tissue is believed to be caused by gynecomastia, which is an imbalance of oestrogen and testosterone hormones.

Miles chose to document his operation online with some very graphic pictures from the surgery and his recovery after. After the surgery, Miles revealed the impact and his improvement in his confidence as he said: "It’s the first time in the last five years that I can honestly say I’m happy with my body and I’m proud of myself."

Charlie King

Former TOWIE star Charlie is one male celebrity that has seen the darker side of going under the knife after suffering a botched nose job in 2021 that "didn’t go to plan".

Showing a picture after his surgery, Charlie pointed to the "out of control" scar tissue in his nose as well as highlighting parts of his nose that he claimed were "not right" or symmetrical. Talking about the botched surgery, he said: "I went to the depths of my despair, hence I've had to move back and live with mum right now, I couldn't earn money, I was depressed, I'm still not myself."

The star has also opened up about the "pressure to look a certain way", and has called for the Government to increase funding for mental health support.

Paddy McGuinness

Top Gear TV presenter Paddy McGuinness is another celebrity who has opened up about surgery in his past. The star went under the knife in his younger years, which he revealed whilst appearing in an episode of Celebrity Juice.

The TV presenter was teased by host Keith Lemon who joked he should have his ears pinned, to which Paddy replied: "Oh I’ve had them done. I used to have massive sticking out ears and I always had a problem with it. The surgeon who did it, I thought, 'There’s something not right with these,’ and about two years later, Panorama’s on, doing an exposé on rogue surgeons – he’s on it!'"

Whilst Paddy might not be 100% happy with the results of his surgery, he did add that he didn't "begrudge anyone doing it".

Joe Jonas

The music star is 34 years old and has been performing for the past two decades, so it's no surprise that he's had a little bit of help to look as youthful as he does.

In 2020, Joe revealed he's had help to help smooth out his appearance and look more youthful. In an interview, he opened up about using a Botox alternative called Xeomin, which removes "unnecessary proteins under the skin". The star revealed he's had it to smooth out his wrinkles, frown lines and a scar between his eyebrows.

Speaking to People magazine, Joe explained: "We're all getting older and part of that is being comfortable [in our skin]."

He added: "I don't think it's necessarily something that we have to shy away from. We can be open and honest about it and be confident and not really shy away from speaking our truth."
