Marnie Simpson said she 'can't do negativity' as she hit back at critics who claimed her weight loss posts were 'dangerous'.

The former Geordie Shore star recently shared a before and after clip of her four-month weight loss results as she 'shifted her mum weight'.

She also promoted her new weight loss programme but fans in the comment section weren't impressed with the clip.

They called the clips, programmes and weight-orientated posts 'exploitative' and 'dangerous'.

Marnie had no time for haters and took to her Instagram to share a new clip of herself lip-syncing audio about negativity.

Lounging at home for the video, she lip-synced: "Shh, shh. I can't do negative today," while looking away from the camera.

From Boxing Day onwards, Marnie's posts have been focused on her fitness journey as well as her new Motiv8 plan.

And on January 3, she shared a quick video of her results as she donned bikinis to show off the difference in her body after four months.

"This took 4 months and some sweat," she captioned the post.

"If you’re feeling that New Year New Me vibe - am with you. Who the hell hasn’t overdone it in the last week?

"We’ll time for a fresh start guys - check out how I shifted all my mum weight and my overindulging weight and my sad stuffing my feelings weight."

She then referred her followers to the fitness plan link.

Fans immediately took to the comment section to criticise her, with one user writing: "Nothing wrong with “mum weight” stop putting so much pressure on mothers when the majority are already self-conscious as it is."

Another posted: "I feel like you’re just trolling us now. but on a serious note, this is exploitative and money-grabbing behaviour.

"Wonder why you waited until January when everyone has overindulged at Christmas and feeling fat and crap."

The user went on to speak to fellow fans and told them their bodies now aren't a 'before' picture.

"There is nothing wrong with the before? It's people like you that make normal everyday people have these unrealistic expectations of how they should look. Especially after pregnancy..." another added.

One person posted: "Marine we love you but this is an excessive amount of times to post and is now extremely triggering."

Although many were upset with her, some were proud of her achievements and congratulated her for her hard work.
