Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has reportedly unfollowed his wife Charley Webb on social media as she moved her wedding ring to her right hand.

The soap star couple have been together for 15 years and share three children. However, they recently sparked split rumours after reports claim Matthew and Charley have been "living separate lives". The couple wed in 2018 and share sons Buster, 12, Bowie, six, and Ace, three.

It has been claimed Charley and Matthew are in 'very different places' in their respective lifestyles. Since rumours of marriage woes have arisen, Charley was spotted looking downcast. She is currently starring in a stage production of Quiz as was seen arriving at the Theatre Royal in Norwich with her hands tucked into her jacket.

As she opened the theatre door, Charley's wedding ring was spotted on her right hand instead of the traditional left. During her appearance on Loose Women in September, Charley had worn her band on her left hand, known as a person's wedding finger.

Meanwhile, Matthew's Instagram account appears to be no longer following Charley's account. Charley's Instagram account, however, is still following Matthew's profile.

And a source has told The Sun: "Charley and Matthew were in very different places in their lives when they first got together. Three kids later and with new careers in the mix, everything has changed and perhaps they are no longer the unit they once were."

The couple first met way back in 2007 and, in 2009, Matthew got down on one knee and popped the all-important question to Charley. Charley, 35, and Matthew, 43, previously split back 2013 for two years before reuniting in 2015 and tying the knot three years after rekindling their romance.

Matthew told The Mirror at the time that their separation was never meant to be 'permanent'. He said: "It was never a permanent split, we just needed some time apart. Sometimes life just gets on top of you. We had a 'terrible' two-year-old at the time and needed time to look at what we had, but it was the best thing we could have done."

However, the pair have reportedly drifted of late. Charley recently landed a huge role in the gripping ITV drama The Long Shadow that tells the story of serial killer Peter Sutcliffe who murdered 13 women and attempted to kill seven others throughout his killing spree which ended in 1981, when he was finally arrested. Despite being one of Charley's biggest roles outside of Emmerdale, Matthew failed to show support to his wife on social media.

The pair have also not shared any snippets of their lives together online over the past 12 months. Charley and Matthew have both posted pics of family events of the past year but non of them featured the couple together. According to the publication, the couple have also refrained from commenting on or liking each other’s posts for months.

It comes even as Charley posts daily updates on her Instagram account. Fans also noticed that during Matt's appearance on Loose Women last week, he spoke lovingly about his the couple's three children but failed to mention Charley. During the interview he instead focused the conversation on his career and family life.

Charley played Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale from 2002 up until 2021. She met Matthew when he joined the soap as David Metcalfe in 2006 and they began dating a year later.
