Pamela Anderson finally shares her reasons for going makeup-free at 56
Pamela Anderson went viral when she turned up to Paris Fashion Week without make-up on - but the actress and model says ageing doesn't bother her.
The 56-year-old says she doesn't wear make-up at home so she thought why not do the same for Paris Fashion Week. She didn't think anyone would be bothered about her paired-down look, but the internet went wild for it.
The former Baywatch star says she "didn't know anyone would notice" but she's "glad it became a positive message".
"I call it life-ing not aging," Pamela told People. "Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now."

Nowadays Pamela says she's enjoying her life as it is. She lives on Vancouver Island and has been enjoying renovating her grandmother's home with her parents, and being a mom to her two sons. She shares Brandon, 28, and Dylan, 25, with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee.
The 56-year-old loves spending her days being surrounded by nature and animals, including doing gardening, meditating and growing her own food.

She added: "I can just be me. It's very freeing to be comfortable in your own skin." The actress said she's not opposed to wearing make-up and dressing up, and may well do it again in the future, she just doesn't want to "play the game".
"It felt good to look in the mirror and say, 'I'm OK just like this,'" she added.

She said: "I think I’ve had the same priorities over my lifetime, which is to be kind, and most importantly to be a good mom."
She explained that she knew she wouldn't have kids unless she knew she could look after them "financially and emotionally", and that they would always have a safe place whether there was a man in her life or not.
"As a mother I took the role seriously and I’m glad I thought that through," she added.
