Charley Webb and Matt Wolfenden 'living separate lives' amid split fears
Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden – who are also a couple in real life – have sparked split rumours.
The power couple have been together for more than 20 years but, in recent months, they have reportedly been 'living separate' lives. The pair, who married in 2018, share three children together; son Buster, 12, Bowie, six, and Ace, three.
Charley, 35, and Matthew, 43, previously split back 2013 for two years before reuniting in 2015 and tying the knot three years after rekindling their romance. They first met way back in 2007 and, in 2009, Matthew got down on one knee and popped the all-important question to Charley.
While they were once able to rekindle their romance and later tied the knot, sources have now claimed the acting duo are 'living separate lives' and in 'very different places' in their respective lifestyles.
"Charley and Matthew were in very different places in their lives when they first got together. Three kids later and with new careers in the mix, everything has changed and perhaps they are no longer the unit they once were," a source told The Sun.
Death fears for Emmerdale's Sarah as teen rushed to A&E after exposing secretA number of signs have now led eagle-eyed fans to believe that the pair could have drifted apart. For one, Charley has landed a huge role in the new hit drama The Long Shadow. The gripping ITV drama series tells the story of serial killer Peter Sutcliffe who murdered 13 women and attempted to kill seven others throughout his killing spree which ended in 1981, when he was finally arrested.
Despite it arguably being the biggest role of Charley's career to date, aside from her Emmerdale accolades, Matthew has not shown support for his wife on social media. As well as this, neither Charley or Matthew have posted snippets of their lives together on social media in over 12 months. Instead, they have shared small family milestones, and friends reunions, but no pictures of them together.
According to The Sun, the couple have also refrained from commenting on or liking each other’s posts for months – with Charley posting daily updates on her Instagram account. Elsewhere, following Matt's appearance on Loose Women last week, viewers noticed that while he spoke lovingly about his the couple's three children, he failed to mention Charley in the interview as he instead focused the conversation on his career and family life.
