The style

The site stretches from the hillside down on to the shoreline, with its restaurants, jetty and terraces all offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
The ornate bedrooms are extremely comfortable with two armchairs in each, while every individual room also has its own private terrace with an outside table and a seawater hot tub to help you unwind.
Orange, olive and jacaranda trees surround the hotel, with fountains and flowered balconies dotted around the grounds too.

Vegetables are also grown on site in the hotel’s organic vegetable garden.
You can’t leave without trying a tagine dish, which cooks the vegetables until they’re tender and succulent. The seafood is as fresh as can be, with calamari, spider crab, mussels, lobster and sea bass among the dishes on offer. Make sure you also don’t miss the delicious, freshly baked Moroccan breads which are perfectly complemented by an array of spreads, including honey.
La Table de la Plage serves a serene spot for lunch, with a wide array of seafood on offer.
Le Table de la Sultana offers French-inspired dishes, while The O Bar – located at the end of the pier overlooking the water – is a great spot for locally grown oysters, washed down with a glass of Moroccan wine.

What to do

There are two pools – indoors and outdoors – as well as a spa and gym. The 148ft-long infinity pool outside overlooks the lagoon, so you can enjoy the outstanding views while taking a dip.
It’s surrounded by five seawater hot tubs and there is also a private beach if you fancy a stroll.
A day out
Staying here offers the perfect balance of outdoor activities as well as the space to relax.
All activities are organised through the hotel, with paddle boarding and surfing available if you’re feeling active.

A safari in a boat on the lagoon, an ecological site for bird conservation that extends over 7.5 miles, is also highly recommended.
Depending on the season, you can see pink flamingos, storks and grey herons, among others.
